Ha! And you weren&#039;t even in west Texas, about which I have heard all of the following: 

1. It&#039;s a whole lot of not very much.
2. There was so much nothing in west Texas that they were able to make a good living exporting it.
3. It&#039;s miles and miles of ... miles and miles.

The Big Bend country is gorgeous, but getting there by car from Louisiana is not half the fun.</description>
