Clear evidence that Becker and Posner get it

If any evidence were needed, Gary Becker and Richard Posner point to The Anti-Becker-Posner Blog. In many ways, I think crediting your opponents is the ultimate mark of proper blog behavior.

Not incidentally, I heard Larry Lessig say the other week that he reckons convincing Becker and Posner to blog was his major contribution to the blogosphere.

    The new folks at TPMCafe don’t seem to get it yet. They’re brilliant people – someone needs to explain it to them.

    I wouldn’t be so harsh yet. Sure, many of the people posting on TPM Cafe aren’t being generous with links, but it’s early days. The presence of Matt Yglesias and Mark Schmitt, among others, suggests they may well get with the program eventually.

    I actually emailed John Ikenberry about this, and he admitted he’s still learning the ropes.
